Heart of the Community
Moose Lodge 109 is proud to be a strong and active force for good in our local community, creating meaningful opportunities for service, outreach, and involvement that make a lasting difference. Through our commitment to programs such as Youth Awareness, Tommy Moose, and Safe Surfin’, we help strengthen families, support youth, promote safety, and enhance the positive image of both our Lodge and the Moose Fraternity. Together, we continue to show how fellowship, volunteerism, and community service can bring people together and create a stronger community for everyone.
The following are just a few recent examples of Moose Lodge 109’s continued commitment to community service. We invite you to join us, get involved, and help make an even greater impact in the lives of those we serve.
Infant POD Benefit
On May 17, 2026, Moose Lodge 109 proudly hosted a special bingo fundraiser to support the purchase of Infant Transportation PODS for newborns requiring urgent medical care. These vital PODS help ensure babies can be transported safely by ambulance to hospitals equipped to provide the specialized care they need. Through the kindness and generosity of everyone who attended, donated, and supported the event, $1,211 was raised for this important and meaningful cause.
Girls’ Volleyball Team
On April 19, 2026, Moose Lodge 109 proudly hosted a special bingo and basket raffle in support of the Warren Area High School girls’ volleyball team. Thanks to the generosity of our members, friends, families, and community supporters, the event raised an impressive $3,137. These funds will help provide team items not covered by the school district.
Team members served lunch throughout the event, adding to the welcoming and energetic atmosphere. It was a fun and successful day that truly reflected the strong community spirit Moose Lodge 109 is proud to support.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the members, friends, parents, and volunteers who participated, donated, and helped make this event such a meaningful success.

Lodge Helps a 12-Year Old Boy
Lihemis is a bright and energetic 12-year-old who enjoys Minecraft, coding, building Lego sets, and reading. He is surrounded by a loving family, including two sisters, a brother, and two adorable dogs. Lihemis was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome, a rare craniofacial difference that affects about 1 in 50,000 people, with many cases occurring as new, non-genetic conditions. On April 30, 2025, our event raised an impressive $3,589 to help offset expenses, reflecting the kindness, generosity, and strong community spirit of everyone who came together in support.
